Sorry I'm a bit slow this week with the update, it's been a crazy week with work.
今週のアップロードが遅くなってすみません！仕事が大変でなかなか編集する時間が無かった・・・
Today I wanted to just talk a bit about how using humour can be both a motivator to learn language, and a reward of being able to understand things that might not be so clear simply looking from one side or the other.
今日はやる気の元になる物、そして言語ができると一番理解して満足する「ユーモア」に対して少し話したいと思っていました。
As some good sources of comedy to get into, I would recommend old videos of Downtown and their skit show "Gotsu-A Kanji" which I used to watch when I started with Japanese, and I recommend watching Seinfeld for Japanese people (which was never shown on TV in Japan, so surprisingly few people have heard of the show).
日本のテレビを見始めたときにDowntownが流行っていて、よくGotsuA Kanjiを見ていました。特に「おやっさん」と「ベンジャミン」が大好きでした。
英語のコメディー番組として一番お勧めは「隣のサインフェルドというアメリカのSitcomです。日本人のご存知の人は少ないのだが、4・5年でアメリカの一番人気のコメディーで、面白くて、分かりやすいと思いますので、DVDを探すようにを勧めします。

I also mention the Engrish website that is a great source for stress relief seeing the wonderful things that can happen when people are either too overconfident or too shy to check that their English songs and titles are correct, and show a few examples of my own.
