Cake in Japanese is ケーキ "keiki" and they are everywhere! Not just any old cakes but exquisite creations that rival anything in France or Germany.
Whilst all the guys are out playing pachinko, the girls all go to hang out in the cake shops. On a Friday or Saturday night you have to queue to get in the popular ones. It's a bit difficult to film in the cake shops, but this is an average supermarket cake counter that gives you an idea of what's on offer! It's amazing how everyone is still so slim.
