ZeroG is the world's first over-ground body-weight support system. It allows patients at the National Rehabilitation Hospital to practice intensive walking therapy early after injuries such as stroke, spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury. In this clip, NRH PT Diane Nichols works with a stroke patient. Diane is watching his movements and giving instructions and suggestions for improvement. The ZeroG was developed at NRH under the guidance of Senior Research Scientist Joe Hidler, Ph.D., of the Center for Applied Biomechanics and Rehabilitation Research.
